With a career spanning over 15 years in management, Pelin has honed my skills across a multitude of sectors such as Non-formal Education, Entrepreneurship, Early Warning Systems, Marine Hazards, Social Inclusion, Active Citizenship, Gender Equality, and Sport. Her journey has seen her excel in various roles including Project Coordinator, Project Manager, Trainer, Youth Worker, Finance Manager, and Contract and Claim Manager.
She has been instrumental in developing the technical and operational capacity of organizations by spearheading projects, raising funds, preparing and facilitating training programs. This includes analyzing organizational capacity, identifying training needs, developing strategic roadmaps, writing project proposals for EU grants, and creating training modules and content.
She has a special focus on Gender Equality and Women Empowerment. She has garnered valuable international experience, having worked in Turkey, Austria, and with partners from different parts of Europe.
She hold a B.A. in International Relations and an M.A. in International Affairs and Public Policy from Bilkent University. She began her career as a Project Assistant at Middle East Technical University and later worked for the Spanish Embassy, IDOM Consultancy Department, ECCO Consulting, and established a consultancy and engineering company, TERA Ankara. Since 2019, She has served as President of the Board and Project Coordinator of the Innovative Education Center in Vienna, Austria.
Throughout her career, she has led numerous impactful projects funded by esteemed organizations like the Erasmus+ Program, Horizon 2020 Program of the European Commission, and UNICEF. These projects have ranged from youth-focused initiatives and technical projects to refugee support programs and citizen engagement projects.
